Costa Coffee Drive-Thru

Update: May 10th 2019

Increasingly likely that this development with the Costa Drive-Thru at Crosskeys Roundabout will be happening. Plans have been approved by Stroud District Council and this week the developers have submitted additional plans for advertising signs and banners around the site. Unlikely they would have done this if it was a purely speculative planning application.

Things could move quite quickly now. Coffee anyone?

New plans submitted this month could see the derelict site of the former Crosskeys Pub developed for a new Costa Coffee Drive-Thru.    The site is located at Crosskeys Roundabout, sandwiched between the A38 and the B4008 Bath Road.   The application is likely to get planning approval, although there is concern being expressed about the traffic impact at the (already congested) roundabout and the fact that all traffic leaving Hunts Grove for the A38 South and M5 will be using the B4008 Bath Road once the new Hunts Grove A38 junction is open.

Planning consultation is now open, so if you have something to say in support or objection to the plans, head over the the Stroud District Council planning website at this link:
